Halo Infinite recently kicked off with its Fractures: Tenrai event which helped players unlock some awesome samurai-style armor. Now, a dataminer may have discovered armor that players can earn in an upcoming event for February 2022.

The dataminer in question passes by @_FireMonkey on Twitter. And as an early Christmas present, he revealed what could be in store for Halo Infinite players in just over two months.

What can players expect from this event? It looks like you can earn the following rewards:

  • Spartan pose of the claw patrol
  • Scorpion Punch Amor upholstery
  • Mark V Zeta helmet
  • Attachment for UA / Mauros helmet

Of course, you can expect the usual assortment of challenge swap tokens and XP boosts. Hopefully, there will be more surprises in store for players. The dataminer gave us 10 tiers of rewards, but the Fractures: Tenrai event had 30 tiers. Time will tell if the dataminer information is incomplete or if it signals the transition to smaller events.

Interestingly, @_FireMonkey provided more information on this event. According to him, it’s called Tactical Ops because it will feature the following game modes:

  • Tactical: Commandos Slayer
  • Tactical: assassin helpers
  • Tactical: Hunter pursuers
  • Tactical: Slayer Manglers

Given the name “tactical”, some players think this event will bring SWAT gameplay to Halo Infinite. However, this way of launching different game modes was divisive.

At the time of this writing, players cannot choose to play specific game modes (such as playing only Slayer games or playing only Skirmish games). This is far from being able to play the exact modes you want in The Master Chief Collection, and it could indicate that 343 isn’t above limiting fan-favorite modes like SWAT to special events to keep players coming back for. moreover.
