MOBA of automatic chess is a new early access game based on the game of Dragon Nest Games, titled Autochess. However, unlike Autochess, as the name suggests, Autochess MOBA is a MOBA type of game that aims to rival powerful mobile MOBAs such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang And Wilderness of League of Legends. In this guide, we will go over everything you should learn about the map in AutoChess MOBA.
When players start playing AutoChess Moba for the first time, it is normal to be overwhelmed by how different but at the same time similar the map is compared to other popular mobile MOBA games such as League of Legends: Wild Rift and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The pace of the game is very different than other MOBAs available and there are a lot of things to keep track of.
Presentation of the game map
The MOBA map of AutoChess can be seen in the image below. As is typical in MOBA games, we can observe three lanes on each side. The main distinction is that the maps are roughly modeled DOTA 2 where there are no shrubs to hide behind and the variety of the terrain is quite evident.
There are six neutral crawling fields on each side of the jungle that players who have decided to play there can farm. Another notable visible structure are the Altars, which are located on both sides of the map. When the team of the capturing hero takes this altar, each player receives 100 gold.
When teams battle two epic creatures known as Arcaic Overlords in the river, they gain bonuses and wealth. Additionally, the spheres that spawn in the river can be harvested to offer various perks such as speed, damage, gold, and invisibility.
Understanding the lanes
Like most other MOBA games League of Legends: Wild RIft And Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, AutoChess MOBA also has three lanes to play from. Each lane has three towers to protect the player base. Unlike MOBAs passed in AutoChess MOBAs, three lanes have distinct characteristics and how they are called. Each lane is occupied by a crucial position in an attempt to win the game.
- Safelane: Transport and support
- Off the track: Offlaner
- middle lane: Middle center
- Roam / jungle: Secondary support or nuclear damage
Each role contributes to the success of the team, also, keep in mind that the maps in AutoChess MOBA are mirrored. To find out which lane is safe for your team and which lane is off you can base it on the length of the distance between the first and second tower.
The longest lane is the safe lane while the shortest lane is the off-line one. The off-laner and carry should always be the ones facing outwards as the off-laner has to hit the carry as much as possible to avoid snowballing them.
Jungle camps on the map
Next are the jungle camps which are the most common source of gold and experience points for the wanderer / jungle. There are a total of nine jungle camps on each side of the map for a total of 18 for the entire map excluding the camps of the two epic monsters found in the river.
The jungle is one of the most unique aspects of the game as it boasts fog of war differences for each map height variation and destructible trees based on players’ abilities and items. The jungle also doesn’t have bushes like those found in most other mobile MOBAs available.
Headlights
Beacons are one of the unique features of AutoChess MOBA that is not present in most other games available in the mobile MOBA genre. They are altars present on each side of the map and are active for a set amount of time before the chills are generated.
Capturing a beacon will grant your team 100 gold for each player and will get a view of the surroundings of the captured lighthouse location. Capturing an enemy’s beacon is a huge advantage, especially when capturing both beacons grants the team a thousand gold advantage, but also capturing the enemy’s beacon will grant a view of their side of the jungle and can be used to find. the movement of the enemy wanderer and where they can gank as possible.
The archaic lord
The Archaic lord is considered the counterpart of the Roshan present in the DOTA series. Killing the Archaic Overlord is one of the other sub-goals considered in the AutoChess MOBA game as it offers a huge advantage to the people who killed it. As the developers said, a reincarnation item will be officially released when Archaic Overlord is killed.
Instead of going back to the Spring to be revived after being killed, the heroes carrying the object of reincarnation will be revived to the point where they died a few seconds later. Also, after your team kills Arcaic Overlord, the opposing team’s turrets and minions will be debuffed. Our game design team is now working on fine-tuning the precise mechanism.
Map of Warding
Survival in AutoChess MOBA depends on awareness. The key to playing with great awareness is being aware (and occasionally even predicting) where your opponents are hiding and moving around the map. When pushing into the middle lane with no obvious opponents in the lane, you should rethink your position if there are no guards to keep an eye on your surroundings.
You have to keep in mind to properly protect the map as a new player, which is related to the previous point. In the haze of war, your eyes serve as protection. You can identify your enemies and plan your next attack accordingly.
To keep track of your enemies, don’t forget to place your wards in advantageous locations, especially the jungle heights seen in the image above as they give the most insight into the placement of the wards. There are eight different locations of the high ground districts on the map which can be easily seen as they are on top and each of them has a symbol which can be easily seen by the players.
The orb of buffs
In the river near the middle lane, there are two locations where the orbs are spawned. The orbs that are generated can range from giving gold and experience points to the orb collector to giving speed buff, damage buff, And passionate about invisibility.
Obtaining these buffs is an important factor in winning team fights that occur around the midline. It is the job of the support and the vagrant to secure the position around the buffs for the carry and / or the core of their respective teams to obtain it.
The basis of the final goals
Like most MOBAs available (not including Pokemon Unite) the final and most important goal of all is to destroy the enemy base. The base has a huge structure which once destroyed causes the team to be defeated. It is the main objective of protecting the base and destroying the enemy base. When destroying all the turrets in a lane, super creeps spawn to attack the enemy base, this helps the team breach the base defense which doubles as a current and finish the game.
