The seventh element in the world of Teyvat I was presented with version 3.0 from Genshin Impact releasing the new Dendro element. In this article, we will discuss the dendron element, its reactions and resonance in Genshin Impact. Before starting keep in mind that the 7th element with the dendron does not react Anemo, Geo And Cryogenic elements. This should be considered good as most of the time these elements don’t mess with Dendro’s reactions triggered by a player
Different types of Dendro reactions in Genshin Impact
Dendro mainly has three main reactions which are further divided into their sub-reactions:
1. Burning
This reaction already existed before version 3.0. When Dendro meets Pyro, it triggers Burning up, which deals with continuous ticks of Pyro DMG for approx 8s. DMG depends on the character’s EM mount, which triggers the reaction.
2. Flowering
This reaction is triggered when hydro meets dendron, Bloom will generate small, seed-like structures called dendro cores at the point where the reaction was triggered.
The seed will explode on its own after leaving it for a few seconds to deal with dendro DMG or they can be further reacted with Pyro or electronic, keep in mind that these seeds are self-damaging (about 5% of the original DMG) but could still kill you. Bloom has two other sub-reactions:
- Overflowing: when the dendro nucleus reacts with electro ypeHrbloom occurs, the electro will transform Dendro Core into tentacular shots that will inflict DMG to the opponent
- Bud: It triggers when the seeds of Dendro’s core react Pyro, Burgeon, will increase Dendro Core’s AoE
3. Accelerate
When Dendro reacts with the electro it is triggered a Speed up reaction. Quicken is a type of debuff that players can activate when an enemy is affected by Dendro + Electro. Deals no damage and for the next 8 seconds. Quicken has two other sub-reactions:
- Aggravate: It Occurs when the Quickened opponent is attacked by Electro Element. The reaction increases the next Electro Attack DMG.
- Difference: It Occurs when the Quickened opponent is attacked by Dendro Element. The reaction increases the DMG next Dendro Attack.
Dendro resonance
Having two or more group members with the Dendro element will trigger Sprawling Greenery. The elemental mastery of all party members will be increased by 50. More EM can be obtained after completing the above criteria.
Conclusion
Despite all of Dendro’s reactions explained above, it’s still very early for the Dendro element to occupy a place in the meta because for now we only have 3 Dendro characters. For now, all we can do is wait for more Dendro characters to be introduced.
