The God of War game of 2018 was immensely popular and helped solidify PlayStation as a platform for exclusive titles. Now, that previously exclusive title will arrive on PC on January 14, 2022.

PC gamers will be able to purchase God of War from both Steam and the Epic Games Store. If your system is robust enough, you’ll enjoy the best possible version of God of War, complete with 4K resolution, unlocked frame rates, and other bells and whistles.

These other bells and whistles include better reflections, higher resolution shadows, 21: 9 ultra-widescreen support, and other great features. If you’re concerned about factors like lag, God of War’s full integration with Nvidia’s low-latency DLSS technology should make for a smooth experience.

The PC version of God of War will come with all the extra content you expect, including:

  • Death vow armor set for Kratos and Atreus
  • Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin
  • Forge Buckler Shield Skin
  • Shiny Elven Soul Shield Skin
  • Dökkenshieldr Skin Shield

Having trouble imagining playing God of War with a map and keyboard? If you really want to recreate the console experience, the PC version of God of War will support both DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers. Whether you like to wield a controller or create custom controls for a keyboard and mouse setup, Sony has you covered.

Have you already played God of War inside and out? If nothing else, it should be easy for users to tweak the PC version of this title and offer veteran gamers a fresh and new experience.
