Are you looking forward to Halo Infinite or Horizon Forbidden West? Fortunately, these two highly anticipated games now have new confirmed release dates!

Halo Infinite experienced delays that prevented it from being a launch title for the Xbox Series X | S. More recently, the game was generally scheduled for the holiday season of 2021, but no release date has been confirmed.

Now, after a leak brought the cat out of the bag, Microsoft confirmed during the Gamescom opening on Wednesday that Halo Infinite will be out on December 8 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC. It will be available from day one for Game Pass. Microsoft also revealed a new trailer.

Not all news is good, though. Although Halo Infinite will launch with both its campaign and its online multiplayer features, the co-op mode for the game and the popular Forge feature will not be available at launch.

Meanwhile, the PlayStation Blog has announced that Horizon Forbidden West has been postponed to February 18, 2022 for PS4 and PS5. It was originally slated for a 2021 holiday release. Pre-orders begin on September 2nd.

To help gamers who have been waiting for this title, you can now download a performance enhancement patch to play the PS4 version of Horizon Zero Dawn at 60 frames per second on PS5.
