Marvel’s Avengers turns one this week. To celebrate, Square Enix announced that it will be giving away several free in-game items, including a new dress, nameplate and supplies.
From September 2-9, players can get the Anniversary Pack in the Marketplace for free, containing the following items:
- Black Panther Tag 10
- Two 2 Hours Hero Catalysts (2x XP)
- Two 2 hours Fragment extractors (100% more fragments)
- Iron Man Iron Alloy Suit
Square Enix also announced on its Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE blog that the following new community activities are being introduced to the game this week, through September 16:
- Cargo Runner Synthoid – Will have a 50% chance to spawn for the duration of the event.
- Race to priority missions – You can complete the weekly priority mission, which grants an exotic piece of gear, once per day instead of once per week, for the duration of the event.
Meanwhile, the featured item in this week’s Marketplace is the Marvel Studios Black Panther Costume. In August, Marvel’s Avengers added its War for Wakanda expansion, with Black Panther as the playable character. The multi-hour story arc also features two new villains: Klaw and Crossbones.
