BioWare and EA have revealed the frame rate and resolution that Mass Effect Legendary Edition players will be able to experience on each console.

The game will offer two modes, Favor Quality and Favor Framerate, giving users the option to prioritize resolution or frame rate accordingly. Both modes will be available on all platforms (PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S), although each console will differ in terms of possible resolution and frame rate.

Xbox Series X has the advantage of being the only console capable of running the game at 120 FPS, in Framerate mode.

  • PS4: Quality – Up to 30fps at 1080p | Performance: Up to 60fps at 1080p
  • PS4 Pro: Quality: up to 30fps in 4K | Performance: Up to 60fps at 1440p
  • PS5: Quality: up to 60 fps in 4K | Performance: Up to 60fps at 1440p
  • Xbox One: Quality – Up to 30fps at 1080p | Performance: Up to 60fps at 1080p
  • Xbox One X / Xbox Series S: Quality: up to 30fps in 4K | Performance: Up to 60fps at 1440p
  • Xbox X series: Quality: up to 60 fps in 4K | Performance: up to 120 fps at 1440p

The PC will support up to 240 fps and refresh rates up to 240 Hz. PC gamers will also be able to change settings for graphics and performance.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will be released on May 14 on all platforms.
