If you’re a Pokémon fan, you’re probably looking forward to the November 19th release of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, a remake of the 2006 Nintendo DS titles Diamond and Pearl. To help build your hype, developer Niantic will kick off a special two-part Pokémon Go event next week.

The first part of the event, for Brilliant Diamond, starts Tuesday November 16th at 10:00 local time and will run until November 18th at 20:00. The second part, for Shining Pearl, runs from November 18th at 10am local time to November 21st at 8pm

During the event, players will be able to meet Sinnoh beginners Chimchar, Piplup and Turtwig wearing Dawn or Lucas hats. You can also catch bright versions of these Pokémon and it will require fewer steps to hatch the creatures via the incubators or the Super Incubator.

If you’d like to start the party a little early, you can put your avatar in special costumes starting Monday, November 15th. Specifically, you’ll be able to get cute onesie based on the starter Pokémon mentioned above. While they will likely cost money (no cost has been indicated yet), you will also be able to dress up like diamond and pearl sneakers via free items that will be released the same day.

Plus, you’ll be able to collect special stickers during the event via items, gifts, and Pokestop spins. And the event will also have great bundles available at a special price:

  • Event Box (one-time trade): 20 Poké Balls, one Sinnoh Stone
  • Great Box (300 PokéCoins): three Super Incubators, two Incubators, a Bait Module.

If you’d rather capture creatures than collect stickers, there will be additional Pokémon Diamond and Pearl in raids, eggs, or just plain in the wild. Below, we’ve got Niantic details on where (and when) to find them!
