PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, recently renamed PUBG: Battlegrounds, has been one of the most popular and prominent battle royale games for many years. You can now play PUBG on Steam for free for one week.
The game is free to play August 9-16 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET. But if you haven’t already, you’ll need to create a PUBG global account on the official site and link it to your Steam account to play for free. After linking your accounts, you will be able to receive special rewards every day of this promotion.
During this promotion, you will be able to try out all the different PUBG modes. If you enjoy the game and end up purchasing it on Steam after the promotion ends, you will keep everything you’ve earned, including XP, BP, stats, and Pass and Missions rewards.
Special events are planned to welcome new players into the fold. Additionally, you can expect special releases like the following:
