Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart video shows how the weapons and Traversal work

A new preview video for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was released today, giving us our best look at how weapons and traversal work in the game.

Look closely and you can see weapons like Blackhole Storm, Buzz Blades and Negatron Collider in action. But the most interesting thing about weapons is how they interact with the PS5’s DualSense controller.

Thanks to the controller’s haptic feedback, you can hear the different explosions and pulses when firing weapons. And the speakers inside the controller help bring every click of each gun to life right in your hands.

Also, the crossover feature should be the big news in Rift Apart. And this video gives us our best look at different crossover moves, including Rift Tether which lets you run along walls and Phantom Dash which gives you a speed boost.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart offers many interesting modes, including Ratchet puzzles, Glitch fights, a photo mode, arena challenges, and more. And you can try the game for yourself when it releases on June 11th exclusively for PlayStation 5!
