Today was a big day for Samsung in terms of continuously rolling out updates to Android 14-based One UI 6. The company released new software for the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A33, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. It’s definitely a good day at work.
The update for the S21 FE is currently rolling out in the US for Verizon’s version of the smartphone. Unlocked units will undoubtedly follow, as will S21 FE smartphones sold in other countries and territories.
If you happen to have an S21 FE purchased from Verizon, know that the update comes with build numbers G990USQU9FWK5 and G990U2SQU7FWK5 and includes the November 2023 security patch level.
Moving on to the Galaxy A52, this is currently receiving the update in Bulgaria, Germany and the Netherlands. The update arrives as a 2.29GB over-the-air download and carries the build number A528BXXU5FWK4. It also includes November 2023 security patches. It should reach other European countries in the coming days.
Next up, the Galaxy A33. Also for this model the update is currently being disseminated in some parts of Europe, with the build number A336BXXU7DWK6, and – you guessed it – the November security patches. By the way, this is a 2.3GB download.
Finally, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will both receive One UI 6 – once again – in Europe. The build numbers are X516BXXU1BWK9 and X616BXXU1BWK9, for FE and FE+ respectively. The November security update is also included.
