Last month, reliable informant Digital chat station claimed that the Oppo Find X6 Pro will come with a 1 “camera sensor. This information is now confirmed by Ice universe – another reputable tipster who said the higher version of the Find X6 (likely the Pro) will use a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor.
Ice universe didn’t say anything about the smartphone’s other cameras, but DCS claimed that the Find X6 Pro will sport three 50MP cameras on the rear: primary, ultrawide, and telephoto.

The vanilla Find X6, on the other hand, will retain the 50MP main and ultrawide cameras, but will replace the 50MP telephoto camera with a 32MP telephoto unit.
However, the Oppo Find X6 Pro will not be the first smartphone to feature a 1 “camera sensor. We have already seen phones equipped with 1” sensors, with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra the most recent. You can read our Xiaomi 12S Ultra review here to see how that 1 “sensor performed on its main camera. And if you’d rather a video review, it’s linked below.
