This year’s iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max come with several unique features, including the ability to shoot space videos that can then be viewed on Apple Vision Pro headphones, which are scheduled to launch in early 2024. The feature was announced as next. this year and the latest iOS 17.2 beta 2 has now added support for spatial video recording.

Those using the latest iOS beta program can now go to Settings > Camera > Format and select the Spatial Video option for Vision Pro. Returning to the camera app and scrolling down to the Video section will then reveal a Vision Pro toggle. Space videos are recorded via the main and ultrawide cameras on the iPhone 15 Pro phones at 1080p resolution at 30 fps. Apple specifies that one minute of space video capture will consume approximately 130MB of storage space.
