According to industry analysts, Apple is very close to launching its mixed reality headset, Vision Pro. It is expected to have it ready for consumers by the end of January, so that sales can begin in February 2024.
A report by Mark Gurman claims that Apple is ramping up Vision Pro production in China and has sent emails to developers asking them to test their apps using the latest tools and submit their products for approval.
Finally, Apple is sending staff from its experience shops to Apple headquarters to train them on the new Vision Pro. How to attach the headband of the device, change prescription lenses, etc.
Apple is clearly gearing up for a big launch as it’s first standalone product line since the Apple Watch in 2015. The Vision Pro is expected to ask around $3,500, but a cheaper version is also in the works.
