Apple is expected to unveil the new iPad Pro tablets at the May 7 event. The company hasn’t divulged anything about its 2024 iPad Pro lineup, but we recently heard that it would be powered by Apple’s M4 chip. Now we learn that the tech giant will use the best OLED tablet panels on the market for the next iPad Pro.
The word comes from DSCC analyst Ross Young, who said that the OLED panels on the upcoming iPad Pro tablets should “be the best OLED tablet panels on the market.”
Young further said that these panels will feature “LTPO, 120Hz refresh, a tandem stack, and glass thinning that will result in ultra-thin, lightweight displays with high brightness, extended battery life, and long life.”
Apple’s 2024 iPad Pro is said to be available in 11.1″ and 12.9″ sizes with smaller bezels. In addition to the new tablets, Apple is said to introduce a new Apple Pencil on May 7 with compression sensing and built-in haptic feedback.
