Asus’ ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition, which debuted at CES 2022, is finally hitting the shelves. The laptop is powered by the latest 12th generation Intel Core i9-12900H CPU with integrated Iris Xe GPU paired with up to 32GB of RAM. As the name suggests, it packs a 14-inch OLED screen – the panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate.

There is a secondary 3.5-inch mini OLED screen on the lid, which certainly sets this laptop apart. It can display various animations, notifications, battery status, date and time and user-customizable text. The rest of the frame has some futuristic-looking elements that should look like a spaceship. In addition, it complies with the US Space System Command Standards (SMC-S-016A), making it resistant to vibrations and extremely low or high temperatures.
Since it’s a 14-inch laptop, it has no numeric keypad, but Asus allows you to put one on the LED-lit touchpad. The fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button. On the sides, the ZenBook 14X is equipped with 4 USB-C connectors, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type A port and even an HDMI 2.0.
The device is already available at various retailers in the United States with a starting price of $ 1,999.
