The September rankings of the best performing phones on AnTuTu are on the way, and the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is the new leader outperforming key competitors like the OnePlus Ace Pro and iQOO 10 Pro which finished in second and third place respectively. The new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is the only smartphone on the list that isn’t powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chipset and instead relies on the Dimensity 9000+ SoC which earned it a score of 1,123,036. The total score here is a sum of the CPU, GPU, memory, and user interface components.
This is the first time that a phone with MediaTek’s flagship chipset is ranked first in AnTuTu’s database even though the margin between the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate and the second-place OnePlus Ace Pro powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is only 11,836 points in favor of the chip size.
Interestingly, the Dimensity 9000+ chipset lags behind in the GPU department compared to the flagship Qualcomm chip, although it makes up for it by providing higher scores in the CPU department. We found much closer results between the MediaTek and Qualcomm chips in our AnTuTu benchmark tests during our ROG Phone 6D Ultimate review process.
Moving on to the bottom of the flagship killer ranking, we have another win for MediaTek and the motorized OnePlus Ace Dimensity 8100 Max which took home first place in the standings thanks to a combined score of 821,025 points.
OnePlus Ace Racing Edition using the same chipset came in second place while Oppo Reno8 Pro + 5G is in third. The ranking is dominated by the Dimensity 8100/8100 Max chipsets while a single Snapdragon 870 powers the tenth place alive S15.
The mid-range segment is dominated by Qualcomm devices with the top two scores belonging to a couple of iQOO’s Snapdragon 778G phones: iQOO Z6 and iQOO Z5 while the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G comes in third.
