Asus is gearing up to launch its ROG Phone 8 gaming phone and we finally have a launch date to look forward to. Asus will announce its 2024 ROG lineup on January 8 at CES in Las Vegas which is expected to include the ROG Phone 8 series. The official ROG Weibo account also confirmed that the ROG Phone 8 will launch in China on January 16.

The Chinese ROG account shared a short teaser video showing the ROG Phone 8 displays will feature a punch-hole for the first time in the series. The display will also feature thinner bezels than previous ROG Phone models.
Asus also shared closer renders of the recently unveiled ROG Phone 8 detailing the new back design and pentagon-shaped camera cutout. Asus is also hosting a blind camera test for the ROG Phone 8, which implies that the company has been working hard to review the camera setup on the upcoming device. We know that the ROG Phone 8 will launch with three camera sensors, but so far we have no specific details regarding the sensors.
