Google launched the Pixel 7a at its I/O conference, and unfortunately, the phone is $50 more expensive than its predecessor — it cost $500 in the US Google Store, while the 6a was $450. It’s a much improved phone, as you can get. read in our hands-on review, so the $50 hike isn’t surprising, but the good news is, you can get around the price hike.

Best Buy sells the Pixel 7a (unlocked) for $450 and also includes a $50 gift card with purchase. Note that only Charcoal, Sea and Snow colorways are available, Coral is a Google Store exclusive.
Either way, the gift card can be used to pick up accessories — like this Google case for $30, for example. The remaining $20 (or all of $50) can go towards a pair of Pixel Buds Pro, which currently have priced at $160 (down from the $200 MSRP).

You can also check out the offers on the Google Store in the US. The phone costs $500 and the trade-in values aren’t great. A Pixel 6a will only run you $136.50, a Pixel 6 (128GB) will run you $150.40. On the plus side, you get $100 off Pixel Buds — that makes the A-series free, and the Buds Pro go down to $100. Plus, there’s a free limited-edition Case-Mate case for you (normally worth $ 25).
