The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update released for the international Galaxy Z Fold2 two months ago and units unlocked in the US last month are now available for the carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold2 in the US.

The update is being seeded for locked Galaxy Z Fold2 units on T-Mobile and Sprint’s networks in the US, and the rollout may soon extend to devices on other carriers.

Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is receiving Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in the US

If you own a locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 on T-Mobile or Sprint’s network, you will receive One UI 5.0 with firmware version F916USQU2IVK5. It comes with the usual One UI 5.0 goodies and the November 2022 Android security patch.

If you haven’t received the update yet, you can manually check for it by logging into your Galaxy Z Fold2 Settings > Software update menu.
