HMD Global, the manufacturer that owns the rights to Nokia smartphones, has launched two new devices on the US market. The Nokia G310 5G and Nokia C210 are already on the company’s website and will be available from Metro by T-Mobile at a low price.
Nokia G310 5G
This Nokia comes with a Snapdragon 480+ chipset and a combination of 4/128GB memory. The front panel is a 6.56-inch LCD with 720p resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
There are three shooters around the back: the main one is a 50MP with AF, coupled by 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors. Images can be taken with some AI filters, while video is recorded with Nokia OZO Audio for clearer sound.
The G310 has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. Other specs include Android 13, a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro SD slot, and some splash protection. Nokia is working with iFixit and built the phone “with easy repairability in mind.” The QuickFix design allows users to fix the device themselves, with Nokia providing guides and original spare parts from a single source.
Nokia G310 5G is available in blue and will be available from T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile, both physically and online. It is scheduled to launch on August 24, when the phone can be had for $186.
Nokia C210
The Nokia C series is the cheapest of the Finnish brand. It has a Snapdragon 662 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Up front is a 6.3-inch 720p-resolution LCD, and just like its more powerful sibling, there’s Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The front camera is 5 MP, while on the back there is a dual shooter with a 13 MP sensor for the main camera and 2 MP for the depth shooter.
The battery here is 3,000mAh and the operating system is Android 13. There is a 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.1, and Nokia has provided its OZO Audio feature for clearer sound in videos. This phone is obviously made for an audience that doesn’t want to spend a lot on a smartphone, so the Nokia C210 is priced at $109. It will only be available at Metro by T-Mobile locations and online starting September 14th.
