Honor announced its partnership with Porsche Design last month and today we see the first product to come out of it. The special Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is a sportier version of the ultra-light high-end foldable.
The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design shares the hardware of the Magic V2 but is only available in the higher version with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The outside is very different, though. The Porsche Design V2 is available in Porsche’s iconic Agate Gray and the bodywork incorporates Porsche’s signature ‘Flyline’, the way the roofline of company cars slopes downwards towards the rear.
Flyline is all about being aggressive: The Magic V2 RSR’s rear design looks like it’s going at high speed even while the phone is stationary.

The camera island has titanium alloy lettering (just like those on regular phones), and Honor says the phone has a “sports car fiberglass body”—we’re as perplexed by this description as you are.
The Honor Magic V2 RSR weighs just 234g thanks to a magnesium alloy frame and titanium alloy hinge mechanism, but they’re the same as the regular V2.
The Honor Magic V2 RSR is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and features two displays: a 6.43-inch 1080p 120Hz OLED LTPO overlay display and a 7.92-inch 2156x2344px 120Hz OLED LTPO internal display. The 5,000mAh battery supports 66W wired charging.
There’s a triple camera system with a 50MP f/1.9 main camera, a 20MP f/2.4 2.5x zoom camera, and a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera with autofocus. There is also a 16MP f/2.2 selfie camera on the cover screen.
The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design will go on sale in China on January 12. It will cost CNY 15,999 (€2,050/$2,250/£1,770/INR190,000), which isn’t too bad considering you’ll get 16GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM. 1 TB of storage.
