Honor today announced a pair of new mid-range phones in China. Honor Play 7T and Play 7T Pro are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 chipset and offer 90Hz LCD, 50MP main cam and Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12.
Honor Play 7T and 7T Pro
The Honor Play 7T has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for its 5MP front camera. The Pro version gets a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole notch for its 8MP selfie camera. The backs of both phones feature 50MP main sensors accompanied by 2MP depth aides.
Elsewhere, the Honor Play 7T brings a 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging while the 7T Pro gets a smaller cell with 4,000mAh capacity but 40W charging speed. Both phones also feature fingerprint scanners side-mounted digital and headphone jacks.
Honor Play 7T is available in titanium silver, blue and black colors. Pricing starts at CNY 1,099 ($160) for the 8/128GB version, while the 8/256GB model is priced at CNY 1,299 ($189).

Honor Play 7T Pro is available in silver, green and black colors. The 8/128GB base model is priced at CNY 1,499 ($218) while the 8/256GB version is CNY 1,699 ($247). Both of the new Honor Play 7T series phones are already listed on Honor’s online store in China with open sales expected to start on April 6.
