Huawei first announced the Freebuds Pro 3 alongside the Watch GT 4. Now we have the TWS earbuds with us and are ready to put them through our extensive tests, but first let’s see what’s inside the box.
These Freebuds Pro 3 are green in name, although the color is very pale. The earphones are glossy while the case is matte and both tend towards the gray color. At first, everything in the box looks exactly like the Freebuds Pro 2, but the case is actually shorter and the earbuds have an improved touch sensor on the stem.
The Freebuds Pro 3’s case has a USB-C port on the bottom, but it also supports wireless charging, although Huawei doesn’t mention anything about the Qi standard on the back of the box. The earbuds promise smarter active noise cancellation, better calls with clear conversations, and dual-device connection.
The battery is the same: it still offers 6.5 hours of continuous play with ANC disabled, and a total of 31 hours of play with the charge provided in the case. We will take the time to verify all these claims and compare them to other similarly priced earphones.
Huawei is offering the Freebuds Pro 3 for €199/£179 in white, gray or green. Our review will arrive in a few weeks to help you make an informed decision on whether the purchase is worth it.
