Infinix today unveiled not one, not two, not three, but four new smartphones, even though they’re all part of the same family and so similarities abound. Let’s take them one at a time.
Infinix Hot 30
The Infinix Hot 30 features a 6.78-inch 1080×2460 IPS LCD touchscreen with 90Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sample rate, and 580nit peak brightness, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset at the helm, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
Infinix Hot 30
The phone has a 50MP rear camera with 1/2.55″ sensor size, an 8MP selfie snapper, 4G connectivity, dual-SIM capabilities, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and runs Android 13 It is available in Racing Black, Surfing Green and Sonic White.
Infinix Hot 30i and Hot 30i NFC
The Hot 30i boasts a 6.56-inch 720×1612 IPS LCD touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz sample rate, and 500nit peak brightness. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
Infinix Hot 30i
It has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front shooter, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. It runs Android 12, underwhelming, and can be grabbed in Mirror Black, Glacier Blue and Diamond White.
The NFC Hot 30i adds NFC, as you’d guess based on the name, but it also has double the RAM at 8GB. The rest of the specifications are identical to those of the Hot 30i.
Infinix Hot 30 Free Fire
Finally, there’s the Hot 30 Free Fire edition, which is a Hot 30 that comes with a lot of Free Fire-branded accessories. You get a Free Fire keychain, a special Free Fire case, and a Free Fire medal as a SIM eject tool.
Infinix Hot 30 Free Fire Pack
This edition’s software comes with 46 Free Fire themed widgets and icons, as well as wallpapers and sounds. There’s also a special camera AR feature that lets you take selfies like you’re a Free Fire character.
Infinix Hot 30 Free Fire
Infinix promises an average of 60fps in Free Fire at high image quality settings, but the specs are identical to the Hot 30.
The Hot 30 series appears to be already available in at least some of the markets where Infinix is present.
