Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst known for his accurate predictions on Apple products and strategies, suggested Cupertino is unlikely to release the alleged AR / VR headset and accompanying realityOS at WWDC next week.

The analyst shared that Apple is not ready to launch the project and a simple introduction will open a Pandora’s box of imitations. “Competitors can’t wait to see hardware specs and operating system design” and “happily copy Apple’s excellent ideas,” beating Cupertino in the race to put the devices on store shelves.

If the expectations are correct, it is likely that we will have a traditional event where we will see iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9 and the latest iteration of macOS. The event is scheduled for June 6 at 5pm PDT.
