The Galaxy A55’s design isn’t surprising: Samsung phones have a pretty uniform look. However, the A15 and A25 introduced the so-called Key Island design, which is a raised area that contains the phone’s side buttons (volume and power). The A55 also has this feature, as we have seen in the renderings but now also in the live photos published by TENAA.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 has a model number SM-A5560 and there is a related model SM-C5560 – this will be the Galaxy C55 (possibly also known as Y55).

The A55 ran Geekbench with the upcoming Exynos 1480, which may or may not feature AMD graphics. According to rumors, the phone will have an 8/256GB option plus a microSD slot.
As for the Galaxy C55, we have a few more details (courtesy of TENAA). it will have a 6.67-inch OLED display (FHD+) with a 13 MP selfie camera, a 50+8+2 MP triple rear camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. It’s not yet clear how the C55 will differ from the A55, but the Galaxy A54 has a smaller 6.4” display and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, not an 8MP one.

The C55 could instead turn out to be closer to the Galaxy A35, which also appeared in today’s live photos. Samsung has not yet set an official presentation date for the Galaxy A55, A35, C55 and the rest of its mid-range offering (there should also be M series phones).
