Realme launched Pad X in India a few days ago with a number of other AIoT products, including Watch 3 and its first PC monitor, dubbed Realme Flat Monitor Full HD. On the sidelines of the launch, we spoke with Madhav Sheth – CEO of Realme India, VP of Realme and President of Realme International Business Group – to learn more about Realme’s product roadmap for the second half of 2022.
Sheth told us that in the coming months Realme will launch at least four new products in India, including a 5G smartphone in the category from INR10,000 ($ 126 / € 123) to INR15,000 ($ 190 / € 185), which, the Indian CEO he said it will be “a much needed addition especially before the 5G launch in India which is expected to take place in the second half of 2022”.

Sheth also revealed that Realme will enter 2-3 new categories in the consumer durables segment and the company will share more information on that soon.
Additionally, Sheth said we should be able to see better smartphone production in the second half of 2022 as the chipset shortage has started to ease.
Hopefully this means that the Realme 10 series will arrive in the second half of 2022 as the Realme 9 lineup, which was supposed to debut in 2021, was launched this year due to the chipset shortage.
If Realme has plans to launch Realme 10 this year, we might see it announced during or before the Diwali festival – coming in October – to benefit from the holiday season sales.
