Earlier this week Meizu officially announced the launch event of the 21. It will take place on November 30 in China, and before that, the company confirmed some of the specifications of the 21.
For example, the 6.55-inch OLED screen provided by Samsung. It comes with “1.5K” resolution, SGS certification for low blue light, and 1,920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen is flanked by symmetrical 1.74mm bezels on all sides.
Meizu 21 specifications officially confirmed
It is also confirmed that the Meizu 21 will have a 4,800 mAh battery which, when combined with the energy-efficient screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (also confirmed) and Meizu’s OneMind 10.5 AI engine, will be able to reach a resistance that normally require 5,100 mAh of capacity or more.
Meizu says the 21 lasted 8.2 hours in its (not detailed) extreme endurance tests, while an unnamed competitor with a 5,100 mAh battery only managed 7.4 hours in the same test. According to the previous 3C certification on 21st, it will support 80W wired fast charging.
