Motorola is expanding its smartwatch portfolio with the Moto Watch 40. This is a slightly more compact version of the Moto Watch 70 launched in May last year alongside the Moto Watch 200.

Moto Watch 40 announced

Moto Watch 40 features a 1.57-inch curved LCD with over 85 watch face options. The watch features a zinc alloy casing and an interchangeable silicone strap and is IP67 rated. Moto Watch OS covers the software side, and the Watch 40 supports notifications even if it doesn’t include replies to messages or calls on the device.

There’s 24/7 heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, as well as sleep and stress monitoring, which support integration with Google Fit. The Watch 40 features a 240mAh battery which, according to Motorola, can last up to 10 days on a charge. You also get fast charging that takes just 25 minutes for a full charge via the included two-pin magnetic charger.

Moto Watch 40 is available in Phantom Black and Rose Gold colors and is priced at $65 from Motorola’s official website.
