The Motorola Moto G Play (2023), presented last December, is expected to have a successor. Motorola has not yet disclosed anything about the Moto G Play (2024), but thanks to OnLeaks AND SMARTmaniawe know what the smartphone will be like.
The Motorola Moto G Play (2024) features a centered punch-hole display and, as expected, has a thick chin. On the back it has a rectangular bump with two circles, but only one houses the camera since the other is for the flash. The Moto G Play (2023) had three rear cameras.
The Motorola Moto G Play (2024) also has a flat bezel, with the volume button and power button on the right side and a SIM card slot on the left. The power button will also act as a fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone has a USB-C port at the bottom, flanked by a microphone and speaker, with a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top.

The source also shared some specifics. The Motorola Moto G Play (2024) will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, but it’s unclear whether it will support 5G connectivity. The smartphone will boot Android 13 and will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard expandable storage, but there will likely be more storage options.
The Motorola Moto G Play (2024) will include a 6.5-inch 90 Hz FullHD+ LCD display and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. The main camera on the back will use a 50 MP sensor, while the selfie camera on the front will use an 8 MP sensor.
The Moto G Play (2024) will be available in multiple colors, but what the leaked renders show us is the Sapphire Blue version. The smartphone is said to cost $169 in the US and is expected to go official next month.
