Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G35 with an affordable chipset. The phone has surfaced on Geekbench, where it was spotted sporting a Unisoc T760 platform and 8GB of RAM. This is the first concrete evidence we have of the Moto G34 successor.

The chipset is built on the 6nm process and has an octa-core CPU – 4×2.2GHz Cortex-A76 + 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A55, combined with a Mali-G57 MC4 GPU. This is the same chip that powers the HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max, which are affordable devices that cost no more than $200.

We can expect the Moto G35 to sit in the same price category. We’ll have to wait and see if Motorola will move on from the HD+ display or 5,000 mAh battery of its predecessor, or if nothing else will change besides the chipset.
