Samsung’s Galaxy Xcover line of ruggedized smartphones will soon have a new member, following the Galaxy
The name leaves room for a Pro version to launch alongside it or at a later date. The Xcover 7, as you can see, has a single rear camera and a sturdy build. The back panel is also said to be user-removable.

On the left side, there’s the customizable Xcover button, which you can use for pretty much anything you want: launching an app, pushing to talk, scanning barcodes, give it a name, you can set it.
Like its predecessors, the Xcover 7 is expected to be MIL-STD-810H compliant and IP68 dust and water resistant. It should also resist drops onto hard surfaces like concrete.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the Xcover 7 have not yet been made public, but don’t expect high-end components. Last year’s Xcover6 Pro was powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC, and that was it Pro branded. So for this reason a Snapdragon 6 series or an Exynos 1xxx is not ruled out at all.
