The OnePlus 13 will go global next month, after being announced for China at the end of October. It is likely that the flagship will also be joined in the same event by the OnePlus 13R, the successor to the 12R as a cheaper, but still high-end option. This is likely a rebranded OnePlus Ace 5 that’s expected to arrive in China this month, and specs for the 13R were leaked today.
It’s said to feature a 6.78-inch 1264×2780 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and better peak brightness than the 12R (though there’s no mention of exactly how bright it will be). At the helm will sit the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in one configuration, but apparently there will be two more.

On the back, there will be a triple camera setup with two 50MP sensors and an 8MP snapper. Although not specified in the leak, we assume that the main camera is 50 MP and so is a telephoto lens (most likely 2x or 3x), while the ultrawide is 8 MP.
The OnePlus 13R is said to have a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. While the battery is an upgrade from its predecessor’s 5,500mAh cell, charging drops from 100W. Unsurprisingly, the phone will perform OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 ready to use.
The in-display fingerprint sensor will be optical, not ultrasonic like in the OnePlus 13. The 13R measures 161.72 x 75.77 x 8.02 mm, which means it is slightly shorter and thinner than the 12R. It’s also a gram lighter. It will be offered in two color versions, called Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.
