Oppo announced the Find X7 Ultra flagship in the first few days of the year, and four weeks later the phone, along with its vanilla brother Find
The announcement came from Billy Zhang, OPPO’s president of overseas marketing, sales and services, who said on Twitter that “there’s a real appetite” for the phone.
Unfortunately all pre-orders were placed in China, as the phone is not currently available in any other markets.
The smartphone is an all-round flagship monster with its dual-periscope camera and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. We received it for a review and are testing it thoroughly to see how good it actually is. We’ve already published our battery life test and the result is promising even if there aren’t many phones for a proper comparison.
Unfortunately the device is still limited to the domestic market. When the phone was launched, Nokia was still blocking Oppo from selling its devices in Europe, but that could change soon. Both companies have signed a cross-licensing agreement on the 5G patent, meaning the Find X7 Ultra is pretty much free to escape China and hit international markets.
