The new Oukitel WP33 Pro proudly opposes thinness. And lightweight smartphones. It boasts an absolutely insane 22,000mAh battery, believed to be the largest ever in a phone. The laptop weighs 577.5 g and has a thickness of 27.2 mm. This is one device you will never, ever forget you have in your pocket! That is, if you have reinforced pockets, because we’re not sure if regular ones can handle something like that without bursting.
The Oukitel WP33 Pro is also very wide (84mm), making it, most likely, impossible for anyone, including NBA players, to hold and use with one hand. At least the height is normal at 175.4 mm.
It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The screen is a 6.6-inch 1,080×2,408 IPS panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and 450 nits brightness. It has Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The main camera on the back has a 64MP Sony IMX686 1/1.73″ sensor with f/1.89 aperture and LED flash. You also get a 20MP night vision camera with Sony IMX350 1/1.78″ sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an infrared fill light. Finally, a 2MP macro camera made by BYD (best known for electric cars, but apparently branching out). Selfies are handled by a 32MP camera that uses the Sony IMX616 sensor.
The main feature on the back, however, has nothing to do with cameras. It’s the absolutely insane 5W speaker that measures 36mm in diameter and is capable of a maximum volume of 136dB.
According to Oukitel’s measurements, the speakers of an iPhone 15 reach a maximum of 98 dB, an alarm siren is at around 109 dB, an external speaker can generally reach up to 116 dB, while a jet engine produces 120 dB and l The WP33 Pro’s speaker is even louder than that. It also has the “8D Immersive Stereo Surround” sound, because 3, 4, 5, 6 or even 7 definitely wasn’t enough D.
The WP33 Pro supports 33W wired charging (it takes 5 hours to go from 0 to 100%) and 18W reverse wired charging to charge other devices from its giant battery. The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, is IP69K certified to withstand high-pressure water jets, and is MIL-STD-810H certified to withstand a 1.5m drop. There is a fingerprint sensor on the side. It runs Android 13 and you most likely shouldn’t expect any updates.
The Oukitel WP33 Pro currently appears to only be available on AliExpress from the official Oukitel store. Its price is $594.98 before coupons and discounts and should ship within 72 hours of ordering.
