Google has teased a new color for the Pixel 8 Pro called Minty Fresh. It will go on sale starting January 25th at midnight PT, and a render of the phone appeared online today.
An official-looking teaser was posted by Evan Blass on their X profile and the phone definitely looks pleasantly green.
The last time Google had a greenmore or less The paint job for a smartphone was the Pixel 6a in May. The arrival of Minty Fresh will be the first green option for a large Pixel and the fourth color choice after Obsidian (black), Porcelain (whitemore or less) and Baia (blue). The phone will also have a green theme out of the box.
Inside, the phone will likely remain the same: Tensor G3 chipset, 50MP main camera, and pure Android 14 with the promise of 7 years of software support.
We reviewed the phone when it was announced, and while Google hasn’t yet addressed some issues like battery life and chipset performance under heavy load, we still approved it as a complete package.
