Realme RMX3841 and RMX3843 were certified yesterday by TENAA and we saw them in the photos. Today the listings were completed with full spec sheets, essentially confirming that these are indeed the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.
Both versions will be identical on the outside: a 6.7-inch AMOLED with 1080p resolution, three cameras on the back and one on the front. The difference will be in the actual chipset and camera units.
Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ on TENAA
The Realme 12 Pro is listed with a CPU frequency of 2.2GHz. The trio of cameras on the back will have 50MP, 32MP, and 8MP sensors, likely with 2x wide-angle and portrait optical zoom and ultra-wide-angle lenses. The front camera has a 16 MP sensor.
The phone has been certified with four RAM options: 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, while the storage is 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. We are yet to know how Realme will combine them.
Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+
The Realme 12 Pro+ has the same 161.5 x 74 x 8.8 mm body that weighs 190 grams, which means it has the same 10-bit OLED and probably the same battery. It has a 2.4 GHz CPU, corresponding to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.
The camera sensors are 64 MP, 50 MP and 8 MP and the company has already confirmed that there is a periscope lens in front of one of the sensors. We believe it will be the latter because the setup looks quite similar to the flagship Realme GT5 Pro.
