The Realme 12 series has already been widely teased with plenty of details regarding, among other things, the camera setup. As for the official information, we believe that the Redmi 12 family will be launched this month.

A new video has now appeared on YouTube detailing a hands-on experience with what we believe will be the top-tier Redmi 12 Pro+ model, also known as the RMX3841.

You should check out the video for yourself as it features some interesting information here and there, some color variations with what appears to be faux leather on the back, and an overview and tour of the UI. We have some detailed specs on the Redmi 12 Pro+ to accompany the video.

Realme 12 Pro+ will offer a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The chipset is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and in the unit shown in the video it is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Of course, the camera setup is undoubtedly the highlight of the phone as Realme claims that it not only has a periscope telephoto lens on the affordable Redmi 12 series, but also the same implementation as the flagship model GT 5 Pro. You can read more about the camera setup camera here, but a quick rundown includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Borescope, and an 8MP ultrawide. There is a 32MP selfie camera in a punch-hole on the front of the phone.

We also know that the Realme 12 Pro+ packs a 5,000mAh battery, housed inside an 8.75mm thick body with a plastic frame that tips the scales at 196 grams. The unit featured in the video runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 on top.
