Realme has been making its most powerful phones with the GT range for a few years now, but before the GT5 Pro there wasn’t a real Realme flagship in the series.
Now there it is – the GT5 Pro adds the final ingredient to complete the true flagship puzzle – flagship cameras. You get the OnePlus Open and OnePlus 12’s competent main camera, a 65mm periscope telephoto lens with the largest sensor on a zoom camera, as well as an 8MP ultrawide shooter. There is a 32MP selfie camera up front. We only wish Realme could have thought of something to cover the placeholder lens on the camera island as it detracts from the otherwise premium look of the phone.
By the way, just look at the Realme GT5 Pro. It’s covered in this unique Red Rock Orange color and features comfortable vegan leather on the back. You get wireless charging under that leather finish – a first for a Realme phone, and it’s 50W. The large 5,400mAh battery has 100W charging.
Realme GT5 Pro
The Realme GT5 Pro lives up to Realme’s high retail standards with a nice case, USB cable, and 100W charger.
There’s a lot to test here: from the large-sensor zoom camera to the battery life, to the display that promises to reach up to 4,500 nits, and the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. We’ll dig in and report back!
