Realme will announce its flagship GT5 Pro next week. According to a reliable source, the device could cost CNY 3,499, which is equivalent to $490. For that price, you get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone with a Sony IMX890 sensor behind its 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
The information comes from Digital Chat Station, which generally agrees with these scoops, although it did not reveal which online retailer posted the image. Meanwhile, other official teasers revealed that the GT5 Pro will be the company’s first smartphone with wireless charging, also supporting fast speeds of 50W.
Realme doesn’t sell such a powerful wireless charger, which means we’ll likely see a sleek stand announced on stage to complement the GT5 Pro’s features.
Features of Realme GT5 Pro
Wired charging will be 100W for the 5,400mAh battery, and Realme said the GT5 Pro can charge from 0% to 50% in 12 minutes. The full capacity is enough to allow the phone to run the Honor of Kings game for 8 hours continuously.
The GT5 Pro’s hardware will be quite demanding, so the company is implementing a VC cooling solution and layered materials with a total area of 12,000 square mm.
