Ever since Apple introduced the Dynamic Island concept to its iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in September, the clock has been ticking. Admit it: We’ve all been anxiously waiting, with bated breath, to find out how quickly an Android device maker would mimic the feature. And which company would win this dubious race.
Today, courtesy of some leaked images from internal company documents, we know it’s Realme. Oppo’s spin-off/derivative/sub-brand/whatever it calls itself this week is apparently hard at work on cloning – no, we mean, getting inspired – Apple’s homework. Err, Dynamic Island.
You can see it in the images above and below. This phone could apparently launch at MWC next week, beating Huawei to the punch at Dynamic Island. The device in question may belong to the entry-level C series, as Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has previously suggested including a pill-like camera cutout on a phone of this type.
A cursory glance reveals that Realme’s island is larger than Apple’s, but the functions may be very similar. As you can see, SuperVOOC charging is currently shown on the island. Here’s a leaked GIF in action:
It seems that a strange bug occurred in the Matrix and caused a glitch in the spacetime that interrupted my last trip to the future…😵💫
So, another round trip later, here’s your first look #The real me‘S #Minicapsule in action…😏

It’s still unclear if third-party apps will somehow be able to access the island of Realme, but don’t be surprised if the answer is no and all we get are system-level things like charging, switching average, that sort of thing.
