The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition is the latest arrival from Xiaomi’s major event today. It tops a series that began in late 2023.
The performance-focused device packs a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ with 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of physical RAM. The high-speed processor inside can boost its Cortex-X4 core up to 3.4GHz.
Along with the Dimensity 9300+ is a special D1 discrete graphics chip. It’s a 12nm display chip that supports 3x interpolation up to “1.5K resolution” (read 1080p) to handle 144Hz content. The chip is said to reduce power consumption while gaming by nearly 15%.
Then there is the special 3D cooling chamber, which can reduce the temperature by 3°.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition’s body is held up by a metal frame, while Xiaomi has used its Longjing glass for the first time on the front and back. The K70 Extreme Edition is also IP68 rated.
The phone is built around a 6.67-inch 2712x1220px 144Hz OLED display with 1,600 nits of rated brightness and 4,000 nits of peak brightness. It has a regular touch sampling rate of 480Hz and an instant touch sampling rate of 2160Hz. Finally, the panel has a PWM dimming of 3840Hz.

Powering the K70 Extreme Edition is a 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging support. A Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chip monitors charging, while a G1 chip safeguards battery health.
