This is the Redmi Pad Pro and it’s a big-screen tablet at an affordable price (starting at around $250).
It comes with a single accessory: a USB-A to USB-C cable, but you can choose to equip it with a number of official accessories.
The first is the Redmi Pad Pro Cover, a simple but sturdy cover that can support the tablet in landscape mode. It’s not as smart as the Pro Cover for Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, but it gets the job done.
Then there’s the Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard, which has a sturdy and tactile keyboard that really elevates the Redmi Pad Pro for multitasking.
If you want to complete the package, there is the Redmi Smart Pen. It is a very comfortable stylus to use and has two buttons at the bottom.
The Redmi Pad Pro is a solid proposition for those looking for a large tablet on a budget. At 12.1 inches, it’s among the largest around and, outside of the Pad 6S Pro 12.4, it’s the only Hyper OS-equipped plate with such a large display.
The 16:10 screen isn’t just limited to size: it’s sharp at 1600×2560 px, runs at 120Hz, and boosts up to 600 nits.
The Redmi Pad Pro is also responsive, featuring a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip with up to 8GB of RAM, and we expect it to have great endurance thanks to the 10,000mAh battery. We’ll test it and more in our full review!
