Given how the global economy has been doing lately, it’s understandable that people are price sensitive. Which is bad news for Oppo’s new F21 Pro duo, whose hardware doesn’t quite justify their price tag of over ₹ 20,000.
Results from last week’s survey show that there may be some hope for the Oppo F21 Pro 5G. He found a small group of supporters, even at the current price. And if it were to suffer a drop in prices, even more people could heat up.
At present, ₹ 27,000 can bring you a better screen, better chipset, better camera and better battery. Okay, maybe not all at once, but you can get several upgrades for that price. Or, alternatively, you can pay less for similar hardware.
The Oppo F21 Pro and the F21 Pro 5G can use a price reduction
The Indian market is highly competitive and the Oppo F21 Pro 5G could have used a distinctive feature to attract more people to its side. It has the right foundation: 3.5mm jack, microSD slot, water resistance.
However, the competition offers high refresh rate displays and faster chipsets. Much could have been done to improve the cameras as well, such as 4K video recording (or at least 1080p @ 60fps) or OIS or an ultra wide module.
Meanwhile, the Oppo F21 Pro has received little love. It has some advantages over the 5G model (for example a 90 Hz AMOLED panel), but even so it is too close in terms of price. People are simply not fans of the Snapdragon 680, at least not when the price is ₹ 23,000.
There isn’t much more to say about it, aside from the fact that there are cheaper phones with similar hardware already on the market in India and the upcoming launch of the country’s first 5G network.
