Samsung has announced its latest smartwatch operating system – One UI 5 Watch and brings improvements in three main areas: sleep tracking, activity tracking and user safety.
One UI 5 Watch brings Sleep Insights user interface which respects a sleep score for each night of rest with specific metrics on sleep stages, blood oxygen levels and snoring hours. Sleep Coaching will now be available directly on Galaxy Watches and will help users build healthier sleep habits. One UI 5 Watch devices will also bring seamless integration with SmartThings-enabled devices to help turn off connected devices when the watch detects you’re asleep.

The new update also brings new fitness tracking features, including custom heart rate zones for running, real-time run analysis, and a custom interval training program. A UI 5 Watch device will also bring five levels of workout intensity including warm up, fat burn, cardio, hard workout and maximum effort. Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users will be able to search and access GPX files via Samsung Health and use the expanded training setting for running and walking.
