The latest phone to pass our battery test cycle is the Galaxy S24, Samsung’s compact flagship offering for 2024. Featuring a 4,000mAh battery, this year’s smallest S-series phone has achieved impressive results 12.07pm active usage score which places it ahead of its predecessor. Our review unit features the Samsung Exynos 2400 chip for what it’s worth, but we’ll try to get a Snapdragon unit for comparison purposes when we get the chance.
Breaking down the scores by category, the S24 recorded a talk time of 23:26 hours which is lower than that of the Galaxy S23 and S23 FE models. The browser test revealed a battery life of 9:46 hours, slightly better than last year’s model.

Video playback endurance gets a more noticeable improvement with a grand total of 17:46 hours – almost 4 hours more than the Galaxy S23, also beating the S23 FE and Google’s Pixel 8. Game stamina also gets a slight boost at 7:34 hours. for a truly impressive release from Samsung’s latest compact flagship offering.
