This could actually be the end of the road for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, as the device has received its third, and likely final, operating system update. However, it’s important to note that the device received One UI 6.0 earlier this year. The tablet launched with Android 11 in mid-2021 and has just received an Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update in South Korea.

The firmware version is Model T225NKOU8EXH2 and includes the July 2024 security patch, and of course, most of the new features that come with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.

While most of the devices that were supposed to be updated have already received the latest One UI 6.1 and some are even waiting for version 6.1.1, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a bit late. On the other hand, it is a low-priority, budget tablet and we are surprised that it received its third major software update in the first place.

Since the update is currently rolling out in South Korea, you may have to wait for it to arrive in your area, but it shouldn’t be too long.
