Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim: that’s what IceUniverse says it will be the name of the next installment in the Z Fold series launching this October. This device was previously seen in rumors as the Z Fold6 Ultra. The new leaks also suggest that the Z Fold6 Slim will be headed to China as the Samsung W25. The Z Fold6 Slim should not be confused with the rumored Z Fold6 FE which will be the most affordable model in the range, nor with the Z Fold6 which is expected to launch next month and Samsung Unpacked.
The other details we got are that the Z Fold6 Slim will be lighter and thinner than the regular Z Fold6, and will also boast a larger display than the current 7.6-inch diagonal of the last four generations of the Z Fold. It will be offered with an Exynos chipset and will not have S Pen support due to the removed digitization layer on the main display. This last step is the fundamental requirement to help streamline its profile.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Z Fold6 Slim name in rumors, a similar report surfaced in May claiming that the slim and lightweight foldable will debut alongside the S25 series in early 2025.
