Realme C30 arrived in June and is now joined by the Realme C30. The phones are very similar with identical cameras, screens and user interface, but the S model offers a new chipset and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Realme C30s is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A platform. It has eight CPU cores, all Cortex-A55, split into two clusters: four high-performance drives at 1.6 GHz and the rest for efficiency at 1.2 GHz. Two memory options are available: 2/32 GB and 4 / 64 GB.
The Realme C30 predecessor did not have a fingerprint scanner, but the C30s does have one on the power button on the right side, just below the volume rocker. The front retains the 6.5 “LCD with HD + resolution and the teardrop notch for the 5 MP selfie camera. The main shooter on the back is also unchanged: 8 MP.
The C30s comes with a basic Realme user interface, based on Android 12 (Go edition) for affordable devices. It still holds a huge 5,000mAh battery, charged via a microUSB port on the bottom. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack, while the tray on the left has room for two SIM cards And a microSD card.
